Appointments

We aim to offer a high standard of family medicine to our patients with an emphasis on preventative health and patient education. All our clinical staff participate in ongoing medical education. This practice is fully accredited and committed to the highest standard of general practice with comprehensive care to individuals and families within the community. All patient consultations are kept strictly confidential.

WHAT TO REMEMBER

Appointments

Please phone 3345 6339 for an appointment. Every effort will be made to accommodate your preferred time and GP. Emergencies will always be given priority – simply notify reception staff if you require emergency treatment. If long appointments are required, please inform the receptionist.

What to Bring

Every time you visit the practice, please ensure you bring all of the following cards (if you have been issued them) - Medicare Card, Centrelink Card, Pension, Health Care Card and DVA Card.

Continuity of Care

We encourage our patients to see their regular doctor, at times it may be necessary to see other doctors of the practice who have access to comprehensive notes.

Delays

Delays in appointment times can sometimes occur. The receptionist will notify you on arrival if there will be a long delay.

On Arrival

When you arrive please advise reception staff that you are here and inform them if you are too ill to sit in the waiting room or if there is a possibility that you have an infectious disease.

After Hours

If you require medical attention outside surgery hours, please contact National Home Doctor Service Phone 3831 9999 or 137425 and a doctor will be sent to your home. Information regarding this service is recorded afterhours on the surgery telephone number.

Access

Disabled and emergency parking is available close to the entrance of the surgery.

Prescriptions

Prescriptions are not normally available without a consultation. Please ensure you have sufficient medication before leaving the surgery. If you are unable to see the doctor and require a prescription, a request will be considered by your doctor.
